Milk & Honey Southern Inspired Kitchen

This was our first visit after hearing about Milk and Honey for a few years now. I took my mom to brunch at the Camp Springs location.The artwork and decor was beautiful and we appreciated the quick service and how everyone greeted us. The food was absolutely delicious! It came out quickly and was piping hot. We ordered the Big Fish with Cheesy Grits. The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried, crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. The dish came with a fried green tomato (my favorite), grits that were creamy and flavorful, and a honey butter biscuit that was very moist and delicious. The food and decor gets 5-stars. However, because it was so hot in there, it was impossible to ignore. After climbing a flight of stairs on a 90 degree day with my elderly mother, we were looking forward to cool air. Hence, the 4-star overall review. Other than that, this was a nice place. We will go back again one day.

my wife and I recently had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment we stepped off the elevator, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our server, Korea, was absolutely fantastic and provided top-notch service throughout our visit. Now, let's talk about the food! We indulged in the Lobster and grits, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The succulent lobster paired with the creamy grits created a flavor combination that was simply divine. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying the adult French toast, and oh my, it exceeded our expectations. The perfect balance of flavors made each bite a true delight. The restaurant's ambiance was equally impressive. The decor created a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, and the carefully curated music added to the overall experience. It's evident that the owners have paid attention to every detail, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable dining environment. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. From the friendly greeting to the exceptional service provided by Korea, every aspect of our visit was outstanding. We are already looking forward to returning because we know we can count on consistently amazing food, wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!"

I've come here a couple times. The last time disappointed me. They sent me overcooked salmon, when I asked for it medium. The wait staff said it came with plenty sauce, it did not. Also my meal was missing the spinach that was supposed to be in it. The biscuits didn't have enough butter on them. The lamb chops one of my table mates ordered was also overcooked, kinda burnt and over sauced to try and cover that up. Then they don't split checks of large parties. The rumchata was weak, didn't even taste it, plus the presentation was terrible. Nice artwork, but it's too loud! And sometimes they also have a DJ!

Amazing service soon I walked into the restaurant. Everyone was very kind. Was seated very quickly. As soon as I was seated, a nice young lady came over and took my order. I waited less than 10 minutes for my food. The food was delicious! The portion was huge. I attempted to eat as much as I could. I really enjoyed it. I ordered the smothered chicken and biscuits and a mango sweet tea. So glad I chose this place for lunch.

#1 MUST GO TO SPOT IN DC!!! Amazing place. I love this hidden gem we took a chance on. The food is Ratatouille (food critic), and childhood flashback mouth watering good. I had there French toast with cream cheese and fruit, my teenager had fried salmon with hashbrowns with cheese and my 6 yr old had classic wings. Everything was delicious. Go through doors and up an elevator or stairs and boom your there with an amazing view. Last thought, this place has an amazing back story and it's the original Milk & Honey (EVEN BETTER) but the floor is slippery, sticky and bathroom need deep cleaned. It feels like they lost the love that made this place. But it's still an amazing gem.

I went here for a salad and unfortunately it is not an option. However, the atmosphere, vibes, and music were on point. The artwork is amazing. The owner and hostess who was working for the day were very helpful and friendly. I can't wait to try the food next time I am in town. PS. New Brunswick, NJ would welcome you with open arms.
